Organizational Behavior Management Foundation

Organizational behavior management (OBM) applies scientifically proven practices within organizational settings. OBM assesses behavior and analyzes antecedents, and consequence, what happens as a result of someone’s actions.

Its purpose is to be able to influence behaviors linked to the mission and key objectives of the organization and its workers.

Such interventions have proven effective through research in improving common organizational areas including employee productivity, delivery of feedback, safety, and overall morale of an organization.

Whether it’s ITIL, Agile, Lean or something else; managements get upset finding out that just implementing a new process, system or structure is not sufficient to increase their personnel’s performances.

It turns out that it is essential that employees show the right behavior first in order to achieve the desired results.

This training lays the foundation for knowledge on organizational behavior, performance and how to influence both. You will learn how to “bring out the best in people”, a paraphrase of one of the founding fathers of OBM, Dr. Aubrey C. Daniels, PhD.
